Nissan India has expanded their Nissan Intelligent Choice (NIC) concept by opening a new outlet in Madurai. This is the fiftieth NIC outlet inaugurated in our country within 15 months of launching the carmaker's pre-owned car business in India.
Like other NIC facilities, this new outlet will also sell Nissan certified cars. These are sold with up to 12 months and 20,000km warranty, giving buyers three free inspections as well. The automaker also offers up to 24 months and 40,000km warranty on these pre-owned vehicles.
The concept of NIC is primarily aimed at providing reliable and value for money deals on used cars. It also gives customers an opportunity to exchange their car of any brand for a new Nissan or Datsun car. What's more, all cars which are certified under NIC go through a comprehensive 167-point quality check and inspection by Nissan technical experts.
The idea of having a pre-owned car business for Nissan was also to expand their brand in tier two and three cities of India. Since Nissan Intelligent Choice is the automaker’s global business model for pre-owned cars, it was introduced in India after its success in Brazil and South Africa. Now it's operational in 43 cities across the country and continues to tap India’s growing used-cars market.
