With the aim of improving the ownership experience of its customers, Nissan has inaugurated a new parts distribution centre (PDC) for the North India region. Spread over an area of 9,050 sq. metres, this facility is situated at Luhari, Haryana and is second of its kind in the entire country.
The regional PDC ensure quick and efficient delivery of spare parts to its authorised workshops across the region, to facilitate quicker service. The PDC is powered by a new multi-depot software system capable of ensuring smooth parts transfer and order completion. Nissan had set up the first regional PDC earlier this year, in South India. Situated in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, this PDC is the biggest amongst all the other planned PDCs in the country. After-sales service is one of the crucial factors that affect the customer’s ownership experience and this move should definitely boost its the customer satisfaction, thereby helping improve the sales and of Nissan cars in the country.
Speaking about this new facility, Mr Arun Malhotra, MD, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd (NMIPL) said, “Our new Regional Parts Distribution Centre significantly strengthens our after sales operations in north India. We believe strongly that after sales service is the key to customer satisfaction and the punctual, quick and efficient delivery of parts is an important contributor to this. The new facility will allow faster and more frequent deliveries, increasing the convenience for our end users.”
