The Nissan Micra automatic is now more affordable than before. As against the older price of Rs 6.53 lakh, the Micra XL CVT is now priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), thereby making it cheaper by Rs 54,252. The Micra XV CVT which was earlier priced at Rs 7.19 lakh, now costs about Rs 6.73 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), thereby making it cheaper by Rs 46,000.
Nissan has been able to offer the pricing benefit to customers owing to its increased parts localisation measures.

Under the hood, the Nissan Micra XL and XV CVT variants are powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 76bhp of power. As for the features, it comes loaded with Smart Key with Push start stop, steering mounted audio controls, rear LED combi lamp, follow-me home headlamps and auto air conditioning controls.
In terms of safety, the Micra CVT variants come with speed sensing door lock, SRS Dual Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). The CVT variants also get 15-inch alloy wheels for better handling.
