Nissan India has issued a recall pertaining to the Micra and Sunny for replacing the master brake cylinder. A totals of 22,188 units manufactured in Chennai and sold in India are affected by the recall.
The company has issued a statement stating, “Nissan plans to begin notifying individual customers in May. Nissan dealers will replace the master brake cylinder at no cost to the customer. Nissan is committed to a high level of customer safety, service and satisfaction and is working with its dealers to promptly address this issue.”
The recall includes 67,089 units of Micra and Sunny in Africa, Asia, Europe, India, Latin America & Caribbean and Middle East markets. No accidents, injuries or details have been reported till now due to the fault.
