- Launch on 4 October, 2024
- It will get minor updates
The Nissan Magnite was first launched in India in 2020 and is now due for a refresh. Its upcoming facelifted model will undergo cosmetic changes and updated features to stay abreast with the competition. Here's all that we can expect from the refreshed model.
Exterior and interior
The Magnite facelift will feature a refreshed styling though we expect its overall exterior design to be the same. The cosmetic enhancements will include a new grille, redesigned headlamp clusters, L-shaped LED DRLs, reworked bumpers, and 16-inch alloys. Inside, the five-seater crossover's cabin layout and design will be the same but with some tweaks to the dashboard and additional features such as a single-pane sunroof and six airbags.
Powertrain
The 2024 Magnite is expected to be offered with the same set of engines as the current model. It includes a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit. The naturally aspirated engine is available with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT, while the turbocharged mill comes mated to a five-speed manual and CVT option.
Launch and Competition
Nissan will launch the latest iteration of the Magnite in the Indian market on 4 October, 2024. It will continue to go up against compact SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra 3XO, and the upcoming Skoda Kylaq. However, its prime competitors will still be the Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Tata Punch in the entry-level cars in the compact SUV segment.
