Nissan has launched yet another special edition of its all-electric Leaf. The limited run model, this time around, is labelled as the Lead Black Edition.
Based on the Acenta variant, the Leaf Black Edition sports 16-inch black alloy wheels, LED headlamps, black door mirror caps and black rear roof spoiler. In addition, the Black Edition is completed with blue-stitched mats.
The car also gets Nissan’s Connect EV telematics system and an all-around view monitor. The limited edition model is on sale in the UK from March for a restricted production run up until August 2017, with the first 200 buyers getting a free Wi-Fi hotspot.
Nissan launched the original Leaf back in 2010. Since then, there have been more than 250,000 examples of the car on the road, making it one of the best-selling electric vehicles globally.
