Nissan launches entry-level Micra Active in India for Rs 3.5 lakh

Nissan has launched the entry-level Micra Active along with the new facelift Micra for a starting price of Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The model will sit below the Micra facelift and will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Chevrolet Beat, top spec Hyundai Eon among many others.  

The Nissan Micra Active carries the styling of the predecessor with minor changes to the front bumper. Although the features on this version are limited, Nissan will be offering 25 accessories as optional upgrades on this car and Micra facelift at dealer level. The Micra Active is available only with the petrol engine and has as an ARAI efficiency of 19.49kpl.

The Active will currently be available only with the 1.2-litre petrol that powers the larger Micra. it produce 75PS and 104Nm of torque and is mated to the standard five-speed unit that power the front wheels.

Micra Active XE: Rs 3,50,000.

Micra Active XL: Rs 4,01,699.
