The much-awaited premium SUV, the Nissan Kicks is due for India launch tomorrow. The vehicle will be available in petrol and diesel engine options along with class leading features such as the least turning radius of 5.2-metres and the Nissan Connect. Additionally, the vehicle will also be offered with features such as around view monitor and a floating eight-inch infotainment system. Moreover, the Kicks SUV will also be offered with other convenience features such as front fog lamps with cornering function, eco mode and cruise control.
Mechanically, the petrol version of the Kicks SUV will be powered by a 1.5-litre H4K engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission to generate 104bhp of power and 142Nm of torque. The diesel version, on the other hand, gets a 1.5-litre K9K DCI engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission that generates 109bhp of power and 240Nm of torque. In terms of safety, the SUV gets airbags, ABS with EBD and braking assistance as standard.
