Nissan India unveiled the exterior design and features of the Kicks SUV today. However, the carmaker has kept the interior equipment and engine options still under wraps. So, till we wait for these details, let's take a closer look at the top 10 exterior highlights.
1. Dual Tone exterior
The progressive design of the vehicle is backed up by a dual tone body colour that gives it a distinct look. We are told there will be a wide choice of bright body colour options when launched.
2. LED Projector headlamps
Unlike conventional headlights, the Kicks sports LED projector headlamps which should be standard on the top-of-the-line trims.Â
3. V-Motion grille
The Kicks carries forward Nissan's SUV heritage and gets the brand's signature V-motion grille.
4. DRLs
Another feature that adds that bling to the front are the multi-LED set of DRLs incorporated in the headlamp cluster.
5. Fog lamps
The top-end variants will also be equipped with fog lamps neatly integrated into the front bumper.
6. Roof rails and Shark fin antenna
The shark fin antenna looks sleek and the roof rails add more style to the exterior.
7. Machined alloy wheels
The Kicks rides on 17-inch dual tone five-spoke machined alloy wheels. These look proportionate and add to the appeal as well.
8. Floating roof
Many manufacturers have included a floating roof design and Nissan has also adopted this. The black accent on the C-Pillar makes the roof and the car's body look like two separate pieces.
9. Boomerang tail lamps
Another set of signature elements amongst others are the arrow head shaped (boomerang) tail lamps which complete the striking look of the car.
10. Cameras
We also noticed a few cameras in the front logo and OVRMs apart from the one on the tailgate. We can guess the Kicks might then be able to provide a 360 degree surround view.
