The recently leaked pictures of the Nissan Kicks have returned for a second showing, this time, giving us a the first peak at the interior. The car is expected to go on sale in Brazil, in August this year.
The interior is built on the theme of the streamlined exterior with dual tone appearance. On those lines, the cabin gets an all-black theme with tan leather upholstery. The seats are adorned with this same leather and so are the door pads with such inserts. The flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel gets a small silver embellishment just to add to that lovely touch. Such similar accents can be seen on the AC vents and door handles. The interior also features a seven-inch colour screen for the infotainment system and 360 degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection.
The Kicks' external appearance was revealed recently during a shoot as it is the official car for the 2016 Rio Olympics. The engine specifications have not been revealed officially yet, but reports suggest that it might be powered by a 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine. Nissan will initially manufacture the Kicks at their plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico and later produce it at Resende, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. According to the Japanese carmaker's plans, the vehicle will be launched in 80 global markets and we can also expect it to be introduced in India.
