Nissan will unveil its much-awaited Micra-diesel on the 10th of December this month. We did post news earlier about the Micra diesel coming in this December (read post here) and that its nationwide sales will begin from the 10th of this month. The car will be available in two variants; the XV and the XV (premium).
The Micra Diesel is powered with the popular 1.5litre Common Rail Direct Injection K9K Diesel Engine, which is mounted on Nissan’s ‘V’ platform. The 8-valves, 4-cylinder Diesel-powered Micra generates Power rated at 47Kw (64PS) @ 4000 rpm, while torque output is 160Nm @ 2000 rpm. The Nissan Micra Diesel will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Available with beige interiors, it will be introduced in a range of six colours; Sunlight Orange, Brick Red, Pacific Blue, Storm White, Blade Silver and Onyx Black. The Diesel-powered Micra will boast of a fuel efficiency of 23.08 kmpl (as approved by ARAI) and this will be something to look out for in this segment.
