Nissan India has announced its plans to hike prices across its models in India by up to four per cent from January 2019.
A company official confirmed that the revised prices will be applicable across all available models for Nissan and Datsun, effective January 1, 2019. Hardeep Singh Brar, Director of Sales, Nissan India, said, “In the wake of the global commodity price increase and shift in foreign exchange rates, we need to pass on the rising costs to our consumers.”
Lately, Nissan has been in the lime-light thanks to its upcoming SUV, the ‘Kicks’, inaugurating its global digital hub in Kerala, and also for kicking off the 10th edition of its 'Happy with Nissan' service camp. The brand’s India product range currently comprises of the Terrano, Sunny, Micra and the GT-R.
