After commencing exports from the Ennore port in Chennai back in September 2010, Nissan India has just announced that it will soon export its 500,000th vehicle from the gateway.
The Japanese brand has been exporting vehicles like the Micra and the Sunny to over 100 countries/regions including Africa, Middle East and Europe.
Nissan India is the second largest exporter in the Indian passenger car segment after Hyundai India. The former has now exported almost 500,000 vehicles in the last five years from the Ennore port.
