- The company could launch the new X-Trail later this year
Nissan Motor India has sold a total of 8,991 units in December 2022, thus recording a Y-o-Y growth of 19 per cent. For the month of December, domestic wholesales stood at 2,020 units, and export wholesales stood at 6,971 units.
Last year, Nissan India showcased multiple models such as the new X-Trail, Qashqai, and Juke. The former two models are currently in the process of being evaluated for the Indian market. The X-Trail is likely to arrive later this year, while the Qashqai could follow shortly after.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, commented, “The year has been challenging on the supply side, customer interest has been strong, especially in the festive period. The higher purchasing power of the customers is driving interest toward aspirational products. Happy to see strong connect and conversion of customers to Nissan Magnite in domestic and export markets.”
