Everyone knows how the Nissan GT-R NISMO portrays the pinnacle of the carmaker's performance technology. But want to know what can happen if an Italian design house is let to revamp this car? Well, the result is a Nissan GT-R50, which is a sports car concept brought into inception to commemorate the 50th anniversaries of both the GT-R and Italdesign. Take a look at its pictures.
A futuristic twist is what we can say the GT-R50 Italdesign is to the 2018 Nissan GT-R Nismo's design. It looks fantastic with the use of carbon fibre and electronically controlled aero.
There is a good use of gold colour all around. This includes gold accents on the grille surrounds, front fenders, bonnet vents, OVRMs and also from the roof all the way down to the splitter.
One of the biggest highlight of the GT-R50 Italdesign is its rear wing. It's tastefully done, is electronically controlled and lifts up whenever down force is necessary.
Inside too, a spectacular design is seen with a digital instrument cluster finding prominence in a bright blue backlight. Seats are made from carbonfibre and lined with leather and alcantara.
