Nissan Evalia launched for Rs 8.49 lakh

Nissan has launched the new MUV, the Evalia, for extremely competitive starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The top-of-the-line feature loaded variant of the Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova competitor is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh. 

The Nissan Evalia is also the most fuel efficient vehicle in its category with ARAI certified mileage of 19.3 kpl. It is powered by the same frugal 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine producing 85bhp and 200Nm of torque. The Evalia also scores over its competition with very low turning radius of 5.2-meters, easy ingress and egress with sliding doors and ample seating and boot space. 

The Nissan Evalia looks bit like a van than a passenger vehicle, and that is probably the only thing not working in its favour. The seven-seater MUV comes with features like rear view mirror, front airbags, ABS-EBD and intelligent key.
