With the festive season going on, Nissan dealers like most of the other dealers have slashed prices of the petrol version of the Nissan Micra, by approximately Rs 50,000. The entry-level Nissan Micra XE at present is being offered at Rs 3.7lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) which gets driver airbag, power steering and air-con as standard fitment.
The Micra has been averaging just a shade above 1500 units approximately the last few months and this price cut is likely to boost their sales. Especially with Sunny’s aggressive pricing, the Micra was a bit too expensive, and at this price is a great offering to procure. The top-of-the-line Micra with all the bells and whistles will cost about Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom).
