Nissan is all set to further reinforce its lineup of crossovers at the upcoming 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The brand has confirmed that its range of crossover vehicles consisting of a new crossover, updated X-Trail and the 2014 Qashqai, will be taking the centre stage at Geneva.
The motor show will also showcase Nissan’s zero-emission e-NV200 van which uses a high performance electric drive-train, based on that used in the Leaf. When launched, the e-NV200 will be available as a van or as a five-seater in Combi or more luxurious Evalia guises.
The show will also play host to the European debut of the mighty GT-R Nismo. Better known as the most advanced Japanese supercar ever; the GT-R Nismo a 600bhp is 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine that has been extensively modified by Nismo engineers.
More on the crossovers: The 2014 second-generation Qashqai gets a refreshing new design, better quality interiors and more features onboard. The production is now fully underway at Nissan's Sunderland plant in the UK. The updated X-Trail, on the other hand, comes with improved practicality, a sliding second row of seats and fully-integrated third row of seats with improved leg and headroom.
About the all-new crossover, Nissan has not revealed much except that the brand’s prospect of ongoing crossover development will be strengthened by the arrival of this new model in Geneva.
