Just a short while after the showcase of the V60 wagon, spy shots have emerged of the S60 sedan, completely undisguised. It’s one of the original sedan in the Volvo line and has been around for 18 years and three generations now.
As expected, this S60 looks like the bigger S90 and this is visible even though the spy image shows only the rear-end of the car. There’s the signature grille that’s visible from the front edge, forward leaning silhouette and of course those hammer-head like tail lamps that wrap around the edge of the body.
The S60 is expected to share much of its engine and underpinnings with the wagon. That means a range of four-cylinder engines coupled with manual and automatic gearboxes.
This S60 will be launched later this year and will come to India probably in early 2019, first as a CBU and then later as a CKD if Volvo sees sufficient demand to assemble it locally.
