The next generation Nissan Sunny will be unveiled on 12 April. It’s essentially the 11th generation for the nameplate and will be revealed as a Versa at Rock, the Ocean's Tortuga Beach Festival at Fort Lauderdale in Florida USA.
We recently published spy images of the next generation car testing in the US. From these pictures we were able to tell that the Sunny will get its styling from the new generation Altima. It’s expected to grow a bit in size and that’s a good thing as the current car is already quite spacious.
The US market car is expected to be revealed only as a petrol variant, but other markets in the world (India included) will get also the option of a diesel. Spy images also reveal that the car will get a sizeable display for the touchscreen system.
It’s expected to come to India around 2021 and will be produced here at the Renault-Nissan factory outside Chennai.
