-Second generation Ertiga
-New petrol engine
-Beige interiors with wood inserts
- Six petrol, four diesel and five colour options
The next-generation Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been spied undisguised just ahead of its launch tomorrow. The new Nexa Blue colour of the new Ertiga is also seen for the first time. As we have said earlier, it’s the second generation Ertiga and this time moves to a new platform with a revised design both on the inside and outside.
As expected (and revealed by Maruti Suzuki themselves too) this 2018 Ertiga sports a completely new face in the form a new grille, headlamps and bumper, the last of which gives the car that extra sporty touch. A profile view reveals the new design for the alloy wheels as well as a really strong shoulder line that extends all the way to the tail lamps which are a vertical design and go well with shape of the vehicle.
The Ertiga shares its interiors with the Dzire and Ciaz and thus gets an all beige cabin with faux wood dashboard as well as faux wood inserts on the steering and door cards. The car in the pictures is a top spec model and so it gets climate control, touchscreen infotainment system with steering controls and TFT display for the infotainment system.
This new gen Ertiga will be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol motor producing 103bhp/138Nm or the 1.3-litre diesel producing 90bhp/200Nm. Both get a five-speed manual but the petrol is also being offered with a four-speed AT. Â
