-Third generation for the original SUV coupe
-Petrol and diesel power
-Expected to be launched in mid-2019
The next generation India-bound BMW X6 coupe SUV has been spied testing in Europe. It’s the third generation for the original coupe SUV since its launch in 2007 and is expected to get the code name G06.
This X6, like its predecessors, will be offered with a range of petrol and diesel engines and possibly, at least one hybrid option for the range. In terms of appearance, this next-gen X6 carries over the quirky design of the previous generation models but the boxy appeal has been done away with in favour of a lower and curvier appearance. In the photos, we can see a blue tinge in the LED headlamps and this indicates that the German automaker may be working on a new headlight technology.
Our spy sources also suggest that this car in the photos is an M packaged model thanks to the brakes as well as the design on the wheels.
This car will come to India once it has been launched globally but will continue as a CBU and be offered here both in petrol and diesel engine options.Â
