-It is a full digital instrument cluster -It has been integrated with the infotainment system as one big screen The next generation Hyundai Elite i20 is expected to debut in 2020 and with it the South Korean automaker is expected to introduce a full digital instrument cluster for the premium hatchback for the first time. The cluster comprises two pods with a large MID between them. We can also see a temperature gauge in the right corner as well as fuel gauge whose graphics have been hidden by the camouflage but what is visible is the DTE readout at the bottom. It is also evident that the dials will run in the opposite direction of each other as was the case for many of the older European sports cars. Also visible in the image is the rear end of the new Elite i20 which by the look of things will get a one piece tail lamp spread across the width of the hatch door.Given that Elite i20/i20 are made for a large part of the world in India at Hyundai’s Chennai plant, we expect that this digital instrument cluster will be offered for the next generation Elite i20.
