-Famous Ford badge to return in 2020
-Likely to be based on the same platform as the Endeavour
-Will make its debut in the American market and be assembled in Michigan
Images of the next-generation Ford Bronco have been leaked. The famous nameplate will make a return in 2020 and be a new small SUV in Ford’s line up. It’s expected to be based on the same platform as the next-generation Endeavour/Ranger pickup truck and will be produced at Ford’s Dearborn plant in Michigan.
The leaked images, from a dealer conference, showcase the Bronco’s iconic circular head lamps, large wheels and square silhouette. However, word is abuzz on the internet that these images do not match the official teaser images released by Ford.
It is possible that this could be the short wheelbase version a.k.a the baby Bronco.
Ford is expected to offer this vehicle with a range of petrol engines and will include it in their global programme and sell the car in markets across the world. Could it come to India? Well, this depends on pricing and the market scenario in 2020. The Bronco, in its heyday, was a low priced jeep. But this one looks to be far more premium and may move up a few notches.
