-Auto folding soft top
- Expected to be offered on both V8 and V12 models
-Latest generation car was unveiled at 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show
-Design for the convertible version was first hinted at through the EXP 12 Speed 6e concept
Bentley will launch a convertible version for the latest generation Continental super sedan. The hardtop version was showcased at Frankfurt 2017 and the convertible version, to be called the GTC, will be unveiled later this year.
This auto folding soft top version will be offered on with the V12 motor but we can also expect that there will be a V8 version, Plugin hybrid model and possibly a full electric model. Of these, Bentley has showcased the full electric version in the form of the EXP 12 Speed 6e at last year’s Geneva Motor show.
From this rendering, we can see that the essence of the Continental GTC will retain the design language of the hardtop but with a steeper rake angle for the windscreen due to the convertible nature of the vehicle.
The Indian car market will get this car a few months after its global launch and like its hardtop sibling will be sold here through the CBU route.
