Next-gen Mercedes GLE to focus on efficiency and edgier styling

Even though there is still sometime before the next-gen Mercedes GLE goes on sale, our newest spy shots show that Mercedes is going full throttle to prepare the new model. 

These new spy shots show the car running out in the wild with less camouflage than ever before. The basic GLE will weigh less than two tons and is rumoured to skip all-wheel drive in favour of lightness. 

BMW, as we know, is doing so and is offering its entry-level X5 with rear-wheel drive only. While getting a sharper and edgier design, better aerodynamics will lower the CW value from today’s 0,32 to 0.30. Refined and partly all-new engines are going to reduce the consumption all over the range by twenty per cent.
