- The upcoming generation Land Rover Defender was spied during a film shoot
- The image reveals the complete fascia of the model
Ahead of its world debut that is scheduled to take place at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor show, a visual of the new generation Land Rover Defender was leaked on the web. A single image shared on the web reveals a single unit of the new Defender, completely devoid of any kind of camouflage.
The image was reportedly taken on the sets of the latest installment from the James Bond franchise titled ‘No Time To Die’. The image gives us a good look at the fascia of the upcoming Defender in the production form while confirming that it retains the profile seen on the pre-production test mule.
The next-gen Land Rover Defender will retain its boxy profile while the front will be all-new, replete with an integrated winch, square headlamp clusters, flared wheel arches and a flat hood with chequered plates on either side separated by a bulge.
Previously leaked spy images revealed the instrument cluster of the upcoming Land Rover Defender, details of which are available here. Details regarding the engine specifications of the new Land Rover Defender are scarce at the moment, although reports suggest that the model could be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine.
