Next-gen Land Rover Defender leaked via instrument cluster image

The new generation Land Rover Defender has been leaked via an image from its instrument cluster. Land Rover’s most iconic and long running badge will make a generation change this year and is expected to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The leaked image shows a combination of the Defender’s boxy lines along with some of the more modern design elements from the LR stables. Most of these modern elements will look familiar as they are from the DC100 Concept that was showcased in 2011. Some of the noticeable elements include the blacked out pillars, contrast coloured roof and wrap around lamps.

The instrument cluster in question is a fully digital unit and appears to be from a test vehicle, judging by the high reading on the odometer.
