-Second-generation Creta test-mule reveals crucial details
-The model is expected to share powertrain options with the Seltos
The new generation Hyundai Creta was spotted during a public road test once again. New spy images of the car taken in Chennai reveal a few details of the Creta, which will soon debut as the second generation model.
As seen in the spy images, the next-gen Hyundai Creta features new five alloy wheels, integrated roof rails, ORVMs with turn indicators. The image also gives us a peek at the posterior of the car, hinting that the model will retain the same tail light setup as the China-spec model. The alloy wheel design seen here is different when compared with the ix25.

Showcased as the ix25 at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show, the upcoming generation Creta receives a complete makeover. Up-front, the model features a split headlamp design, chequered grille similar to the Venue, split tail lights and new front and rear bumpers.
Inside, the second-generation Hyundai Creta comes equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster, large touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, 360-degree camera and an all-black interior theme.
Powertrain options on the new Hyundai Creta could be borrowed from the Kia Seltos. These engines would include the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel motors as well as a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol motor. Transmission options are likely to be unchanged and hence, could include a six-speed manual unit and a six-speed automatic unit. Once launched, the next generation Creta will rival against the MG Hector, Renault Duster, Tata Harrier and the Kia Seltos.
