- New-gen Creta will feature a fully revamped interior
- The model is expected to share engine options with the Kia Seltos
Hyundai showcased the next generation Creta as the new ix25 at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show earlier this year. The model was recently spied testing in India and now, the interiors of the upcoming model have been leaked on the web.
The interior shots of the new-gen Hyundai ix25 or Creta seem to have been taken at a production line, hinting that the model will be launched in China soon. Featured highlights of the model include a fully digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mounted below the AC vents and an all-black interior theme. The model is also expected to receive BlueLink connectivity.
On the outside, the upcoming generation of the Hyundai Creta will feature a new front bumper, signature cascading grille, two-tier headlamps setup, new alloy wheels, split LED tail lights and a new rear bumper. The dimensions of the model were recently revealed, details of which are available here.
Engine specifications remain unknown at the moment although the model is expected to be powered by a new set of engines shared with the Kia Seltos. Once launched, the next-generation Hyundai Creta will rival against the likes of the Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Renault Duster and the MG Hector.
