The next generation Vento sedan has been spotted testing in Brazil. It is expected to debut later this year and will be a part of the vehicle developed on the German automaker’s A0 platform which it will share with a variety of vehicles like Polo, Ameo and T-Cross in production form.
The pictures reveal that the car has become wider and longer indicating that it will be larger than the current model. This also means it is also expected to get a longer wheelbase and thereby a larger cabin. We can also a slightly modified C-pillar as well as LED tail lamps.
The Polo and all its design variations are crucial models for VWs Indian arm as they will spearhead the automaker’s volumes push for the sub-continent. The increase in the size of the car indicates that the automaker wants to move it up a notch to separate from the Ameo and the Polo. We will get the next generation Polo first and this will be followed by the Vento a few months later.
