The next generation Nissan Micra will get bigger and more premium, especially with regard to the cabin. This was revealed by Trevor Mann Nissan’s executive vice president. It will be unveiled next year and is expected to be influenced heavily by the Sway concept car that shown at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
However, its most major boost is that the cabin will become a more premium one and is expected to get a significantly upgraded feature list as compared to the current vehicle. However, the mechanicals are expected to stay the same as current model with the addition of at least one high performance model.
It is expected to be produced for a majority of the global markets at Renault-Nissan alliance plant outside Chennai.
