- Expected to be launched in the coming weeks
- Based on the fourth-gen Swift launched earlier this year
Ahead of its price reveal that is likely to take place in the coming weeks, Maruti Suzuki continues testing the new-gen Dzire. Fresh details of the upcoming sub-four-metre sedan have emerged, courtesy of new spy shots shared on the web.
As per the spy shots, the new Dzire will feature a fresh set of headlamps with integrated, horizontal LED DRLs, new set of alloy wheels, blind-spot monitors, and new front and rear bumpers. Also up for offer could be new LED taillights, tweaked tailgate, and a segment-first electric sunroof.
Inside, the 2024 Maruti Dzire is expected to carry over most of the design elements and features from the current-gen Swift. These will include automatic climate control, cruise control, new nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen unit, rear AC vents, wireless charger, OTA updates, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
In the powertrain department, the all-new Dzire will get a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, Z12E petrol engine paired with five-speed manual and AMT units. The power output is rated at 80bhp and 112Nm of torque. A CNG version could arrive at launch or later in the lifecycle.
