Hyundai has released a new teaser video for the next generation Verna, which is due to arrive in the sub-continent later this year. This is an all-new car for India and sports a new design as well as a revised feature list.
In the teaser, we can see the shapes and lines of the car as well as grille, head lamps and tail lamps. However, that being said, we are already acquainted with the appearance of the new car as it has been on sale in the People’s Republic for more than six months now. Noticeable elements include the large chrome grille, angular headlamps, LED DRLs and of course, the Elantra inspired three-set lamps.
From a teaser image that Hyundai released before the video, we can see that this new Verna’s cabin will be a two-tone beige and black affair with features like climate control, chrome bezel for the AC vents and a large display for the touchscreen infotainment system. The Verna is expected to continue with the same set of petrol and diesel engines as well as underpinnings from the current model.
The Verna is Hyundai’s competitor in the C-segment where it rivals the likes of the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid and the Volkswagen Vento.
