Chevrolet has been testing the all-new generation of the Cruze for quite some time now, even as the existing model continues to sell in big numbers in many global markets. Having gathered sales of around 2 million units since its arrival in 2008, the Cruze has been a global success for General Motors.
The all-new generation of the Cruze has been spotted on test yet again this time in Germany. Dressed in heavy camouflage, the upcoming model is said to sport a sleeker profile, a bigger front grille and slimmer headlamps.
The all-new Cruze is likely to be one of the first vehicles to use GM’s new global platform which will eventually form the basis for a whole new lot of compact sedans and crossovers by 2018. This all-new platform will underpin future models from Chevrolet, Vauxhall and even Cadillac.
