- Based on a new platformÂ
- To be powered by existing petrol and diesel engine options
A few days back, for the first time, the next-generation Hyundai Grand i10 was spotted on test in Korea. This time around, the new-generation model has been spotted on test in India. Based on an all new platform, the new Grand i10 will be launched in the country in 2019. Changes will be limited to fresh cosmetic and feature upgrades, while mechanically, it will continue to be powered by existing petrol and diesel engine options.Â
As seen in images, the new Grand i10 is believed to be production ready and is expected to get sportier lines and a new fascia with projector headlamps. The sides feature slightly longer and sharper ORVMs and redesigned alloy wheels. Moreover, the rear section will get redesigned tail lamps and bumper. The Grand i10 in India is slightly longer than the international spec version, therefore it is believed that the new model will also be slightly longer than the international spec-model. Â Â
As for the interior, it is speculated that the new model will be offered with a new dual-tone upholstery for freshness and a touchscreen infotainment system. The vehicle will be offered with standard safety features such as dual front airbags and ABS. Additional details about the vehicle will be known in the days to come.
