New-Gen Maruti Suzuki Wagon R spied

Maruti Suzuki's popular city car, the Wagon R is set to be launched with a major set of upgrades in 2019. Recently, a vehicle was spotted on test in the country which is believed to be the new Wagon R. Based on what can be seen, the new model is expected to get new features along with new design highlights. The new model will also comply with the latest crash test norms. 

The company has not spoken in detail about the upcoming vehicle yet and it is believed that the vehicle will continue to be powered by the existing 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. The vehicle is likely to be offered with a CNG variant and AMT options at the time of its launch. The new model might also get a SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system in the top spec variant. 

Based on what can be seen, the new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R will continue with the tall boy design, but this time around it might get a smoother design over its conventional boxy design. More details about the vehicle will be known in the days to come.
