The new-gen Mahindra Scorpio has been spied on test on numerous occasion. This time around, the interior of the upcoming SUV has been spied. Based on what can be seen, the new model is expected to feature a new dashboard design along with vertical AC vents. The new model will also feature a touchscreen infotainment system along with a revised steering wheel, new instrument cluster and new switchgear.
Mechanically, the new-gen Mahindra Scorpio is expected to be powered by a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that generates 158bhp of power. The engine will come mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission option. It is believed that the new Scorpio might also get an optional four-wheel drive system.
The new Scorpio will be based on the ladder frame chassis and will get revised headlamps and a new grille. The beefier sides and rear is expected to give a sporty stance to the SUV.
