- To be available in dual-tone body colour option
- Expected to get petrol and diesel engine options from the Grand i10 Nios
- Likely to offer additional features over its predecessor
The new-gen Hyundai Xcent has been spied in a new dual-tone colour. The new model is expected to be introduced with a fresh set of cosmetic and feature updates, along with BS-VI compliant petrol and diesel engine options. Although the test mule is heavily camouflaged, it appears to be a production-ready model.
Based on what can be seen, the new Hyundai Xcent features a light blue body colour with a black roof. The sides do not appear to get major updates except for new wheel caps, while the rear features new LED tail lamps. Additionally, the test mule also features a shark fin antennae and a rear view camera. Although the front section is not visible in the image, the new Xcent is expected to get new headlamps with LED projector units and a signature cascading grille.
Under the hood, the new-gen Hyundai Xcent is expected to be powered by the BS-VI compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 114Nm of torque, while the 1.2-litre diesel engine is due for a BS-VI upgrade. The engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission and it gets an optional AMT unit.
