Hyundai’s luxury brand Genesis has always thrilled car fans across the globe with its impressive luxury features. The four-door sports sedan has been named as ‘New York Concept’, and will be officially introduced at the New York Auto Show.
The luxury carmaker chose to be tight-lipped on the details of the upcoming vehicle. Based on a recently released teaser image, the new Genesis sedan might carry new honeycomb vents that blend neatly with the larger grille. Moreover, we can expect to see sporty horizontal lights that add to its overall premium quotient.
Speaking to media, head of Genesis brand, Manfred Fitzgerald, said, “The New York Concept is a progressive concept car that showcases the design quality of the brand. With its expressive volumes and refined design, the New York Concept truly embodies the athletic elegance, which characterises Genesis products.”
Though in-depth details on the upcoming vehicle is not known, for now, we believe that the vehicle might be based on the Genesis G70 model. Post launch, the new Genesis sedan will compete against Audi A4, Lexus IS and the BMW 3 Series. The new Genesis sedan will be unveiled at the New York Auto Show on 23rd March, 2016.
