Volkswagen has launched the updated version of the Polo in the country at an introductory price of Rs 5.82 lakhs. The new model gets a fresh set of cosmetic and feature upgrades. The new Polo is now available in flash red colour option, in addition to the existing colour options like the sunset red, reflex silver candy white, carbon steel, lapiz blue and toffee brown.
What’s good about it?
Volkswagen offers a five-year standard warranty on all diesel cars. Since 1 January 2019, all Volkswagen carlines offer standardized vehicle warranty of up to four-year/100,000 km, four-year free roadside assistance (RSA) and three free services. The Polo gets the mandatory safety features under AIS 145 norms which includes speed alarm, rear parking sensors, seat belt warning and dual airbags.
What’s not so good?
The changes look fresh but a new generation upgrade would have been more welcoming. It would be interesting to see a few convenience features like wireless charging, digital instrument cluster and more.
