Having recently made its online debut, the updated Volkswagen Polo is on its way to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show scheduled for next month. The car – in GT TSI guise – has now been spied on test in India, near Volkswagen India’s facility in Pune.
As seen in the pictures, the updates are very minimal both on the outside and inside. In typical Volkswagen fashion, the Polo facelift gets a subtly designed new look which consists of redesigned headlamps with enhanced detailing. The front bumper and the grille, too, get upgrades. At the back, the test mule is seen with a new bumper design which features repositioned reflectors.
From the looks of it, the interior design and layout will remain the same as the existing model though we are not complaining; the Polo already has a pretty inviting cabin with good quality bits.
Given that the test mule appears in near-production form, we expect Volkswagen India to launch the Polo facelift, soon after its European debut.
