Skoda dealerships have started accepting bookings for the Octavia 'Laurin & Klement' (L&K) trim. The petrol model is priced at an ex-showroom (Navi Mumbai) price of Rs 21.2 lakhs and the diesel model costs Rs 23.19 lakhs.
Skoda has not officially revealed details about this trim yet. However, we can expect some additional features on this trim over the Style plus variant. Dealers say it will get a Canton 12-speaker audio system and premium perforated leather seats. It will come only in white and quartz grey body colour options. The other cosmetic changes might be limited to an L&K badge and different alloy wheels.
This L&K variants will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. However, it will be offered only on the automatic versions of the 1.8-litre TSI petrol and 2.0-litre diesel units. This petrol comes mated to a seven-speed DSG, while the diesel unit comes equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.Â
The Skoda Octavia presently on sale is the latest iteration launched in India on 13 July, 2017. The L&K trim wasn't introduced at the time of the launch, but is now reaching dealerships slowly. Potential buyers should note that the prices of these L&K variants are about Rs 30,000 more than the present top-spec Style Plus variant.
