Skoda Auto India is all set to enter the sub-four-metre SUV segment with the debut of the Kylaq SUV which is scheduled to take place tomorrow. The upcoming Tata Nexon rival has been spotted testing on multiple occasions in the recent past, thus revealing key details and features.
Under the hood, the new Kylaq sub-four-metre SUV will be powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, TSI turbo-petrol engine. Paired with six-speed manual and torque converter automatic gearboxes, this motor will belt out 114bhp and 178Nm of torque.
The interior of the Kylaq is expected to come equipped with an electric sunroof, large touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, virtual cockpit, cruise control, automatic climate control, and rear AC vents.
On the cosmetic front, the 2025 Skoda Kylaq will boast split headlamps, LED DRLs, blacked-out grille with vertical slats, new alloy wheels, fresh wraparound LED taillights, integrated spoiler, roofrails, and new front and rear bumpers. Once launched, the Kylaq will compete against the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite, and the Renault Kiger.
