-The second-gen version has already been spotted in India
-Will get a comprehensive design update and an updated feature set
While the global market has recently received the sportier iteration of the Kodiaq in the form of the RS version, the wait for the second-gen model in the Indian market continues. Fret not, as we have got our hands on confirmed timelines of the SUV’s arrival on Indian soil.
Yes, while the 2025 Kodiaq has technically reached local shores, courtesy of multiple spy images over the last few months, we can now confirm that the updated three-row SUV will officially make its debut in March 2025, followed by a price reveal in May.
Coming to the changes, the new Skoda Kodiaq will get an updated design with fresh split LED headlamps, new front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels and grille, C-shaped LED taillights, and the signature ‘Skoda’ lettering on the tailgate. The interiors will be equipped with a fresh dual-tone theme, auto-dimming IRVM, two-spoke steering wheel, 10-inch virtual cockpit, and an upsized 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Also up for offer could be an ADAS suite.
The powertrain of the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq will be carried over from its predecessor. This is the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine belting out 187bhp and 320Nm via the seven-speed DCT transmission. Apart from the Kodiaq, Skoda will be lining up the facelifted Kushaq, new Superb, and the Enyaq EV across 2025.
