- The Renault Kwid facelift will be available in four trims.
- It will compete against the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.
The Renault Kwid facelift is all-set to be launched in India on 1 October. Preceding its launch, the interiors and the exterior design of the new Kwid has been leaked, courtesy of the numerous spy shots.
The new Kwid takes design inspiration from the China-spec Renault K-ZE City electric hatchback. It features a redesigned fascia, while the rear gets new LED taillights. The interiors have been updated as well, and there's a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display from the Renault Triber.
Powering the Renault Kwid facelift will be the same BS-IV compliant 0.8L and 1.0L petrol engines. Both these motors will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission, while there will an AMT option on the Kwid 1.0. The Kwid facelift comes just in time to compete against the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, which will be launched a day prior on 30 September.Â
