- The Kwid Climber facelift's design is based on the Renault K-ZE City electric car.
- It is expected to be launched in the months to come.
- It will rival the upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.
The first images of the 2019 Renault Kwid Climber facelift have been teased officially in India. As seen in the images, the Kwid Climber facelift's design has been inspired by the Renault K-ZE City, which is a China-spec all-electric hatchback.
The Renault Kwid Climber facelift was recently spied completely undisguised in India, confirming that the launch is just around the corner. This new style is quite alluring and in-line with most modern-day car designs. Upfront, there are sleek LED DRLs in place of the headlamps, while the lights are placed lower below on the bumper. The profile remains largely unchanged, while the taillights get an LED signature to make it upmarket.
Interiors aren't visible here. However, we don't expect any major changes inside the cabin of the 2019 Renault Kwid Climber facelift. Under the hood, the Kwid Climber facelift will continue with the 0.8L and 1.0L petrol engines. These will be BS-VI compliant and will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. An AMT will be optional on the Kwid 1.0.
With all the changes in place, expect the prices to go up slightly. The new Kwid will rival against the upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, Tata Tiago, Datsun redi-GO and the Hyundai Santro.
