New Renault Duster launched: Now in pictures

Renault India has launched the new Duster facelift, priced between Rs 8 - 12.50 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Renault Duster is available in a total of nine variants across four trims. The SUV continues to be offered with the same petrol and diesel engines, and transmissions are carried over as well. Also on offer are two new colour schemes - Caspian Blue and Mahogany Brown. As a part of the facelift, the new Renault Duster features a tri-winged chrome grille up front and a muscular front bumper with faux skid plates. The fog lamps assembly has been redesigned and there’s a chrome slat that accentuates the front fascia.

The car comes with a new headlight and revised internals. There’s a projector for the low beam and a separate reflector for the high beam. And to add to the looks, the headlamps also get integrated LED daytime running lights.

On the sides, the new Renault Duster comes equipped with 16-inch R16 Everest diamond-cut alloy wheels. The SUV has a ground clearance of 205mm for the standard variant, while the Duster AWD comes with a ground clearance of 210mm. The car also features the ‘Kayak’ roof rails.

As for the interiors, the new Duster features a slightly redesigned dashboard with soft-touch plastics and a midnight black treatment to the cabin. The new steering wheel and the premium blue glazed upholstery for the seats lend a classy touch to the interiors. It also gets a new MediaNAV Evolution infotainment system with support for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition and EcoGuide. The infotainment unit is complemented by a six-speaker ARKAMYS music system.

The 2019 Renault Duster is powered by 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The latter is offered in two states of tunes – 85bhp and 110bhp. The petrol motor can be had with a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT. On the other hand, the oil burner is available with a six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed EasyR AMT.
