New Renault Duster launched in India; prices start at Rs 7.99 lakhs

-    Available in nine trims
-    Transmission options include CVT for petrol and AMT for diesel
-    New colour options include Caspian Blue and Mahogany Brown

Renault has launched the new Duster facelift in India, with prices starting at Rs 7.99 lakhs. The model will be available in nine variants, three engine options and two new colour options including Caspian blue and Mahogonay brown.

Engine options on the Renault Duster facelift include a 1.5-litre petrol motor and a 1.5-litre diesel motor. The diesel variant of the Duster facelift is offered in the 85 bhp guise and 108bhp guise. The petrol mill is available with the choice of a five speed manual or a CVT while the diesel mill is offered with a six speed manual and an Easy-R AMT transmission.

Compared to the outgoing generation, the Renault Duster facelift features an updated bumper, new chrome grille and projector headlamps with LED DRL’s. The side profile receives new 16 inch dual tone alloy wheels while the rear sports a revised bumper and tailgate with black applique. Inside, the new Duster facelift comes equipped with new trim for the seats and an updated MEDIANAV infotainment system.

In India, the new Duster facelift rivals against the likes of the MG hector, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks and the upcoming Kia Seltos.
