New Range Rover Evoque mule spotted testing

The Evoque is currently the most popular model made by Land Rover and a huge source of revenue for the British carmaker. 

Even after six years, the Evoque is still desirable but there might be one problem that could hurt it going forward. The Evoque in many ways is now less practical than some premium hatchbacks. Development has thus started on the updated model which has now been spied in test mule form. The spy pictures suggest that the new Evoque will be built on a new platform with wider tracks. The car's wheelbase is unchanged, but Land Rover could play with the rear overhang later in the development cycle.

The new Evoque will incorporate JLR’s latest four-cylinder petrol and diesel Ingenium engines. The vehicle, in all probability, would be based on a modified Freelander 2 platform and is expected to debut during the later half of next year.
